ונעם לי לקרות במכתבו אשר אף שקשה לו הדבר עתה בכל זה לא רצה לשנות מאשר נדבר, ובפרט שידוע פתגם כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, שכאשר האדם למטה מחליט לתת לצדקה סכום שאינו לפי יכולתו בהווה, באותה שעה פותחים מלמעלה צנורות חדשים על ידם יקבל השפעה נוספת למען יוכל למלאות הבטחתו, ובפרט ע"פ הידוע דרשת רז"ל על הכתוב עשר תעשר, עשר בשביל שתתעשר, וכבר נאמר ובחנוני נא בזאת אמר ה' צבאות.
במ"ש אודות המקום פנוי בבית החיים אשר נמצא עליו החצי מצבה כפולה, ובאם ירצה מי שהוא לקנות מקום פנוי זה, צריך יהי' להסיר המצבה וכו'.
והנה בענינים כאלו יש להזהר ביותר, כיון שנוגע בשטח כבוד הנמצאים בעולם האמת, וחמירא מאיסורא, ולכן אין כדאי להכנס בספק זה, אפילו את"ל שאין בזה חלק איסור, אשר גם בזה יש מקום לדון, ויאריך ימים ושנים טובות הוא וכן זוגתו שתליט"א, ויוסיפו בשטח חינוך בני ישראל בדרך תורתנו תורת חיים הניתנה מאלקים חיים מחי' החיים, ויה"ר שתהי' הוספה זו מתאימה להוראת ימי חנוכה דמוסיף והולך מיום ליום.

In response to your letter from the 22nd of Kislev with its enclosure, here you will find a temporary receipt as per your request. I was pleased to read in your letter that even though it is difficult for you at this time, you did not want to change what was discussed—especially since it is known from the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe (may his merit protect us), that when a person below decides to give tzedakah in an amount beyond his current means, at that very moment new channels are opened from Above through which he will receive additional blessing so he can fulfill his pledge. This is especially so according to our Sages' teaching on the verse 'Aser Te'aser' ('You shall surely tithe'), meaning 'tithe so that you may become wealthy,' and as it is already stated: 'And test Me now with this,' says the L‑rd of Hosts.
Regarding what you wrote about the vacant spot in the cemetery where there is a double half-matzeivah (headstone), and if someone wishes to purchase this vacant spot, it would be necessary to remove the matzeivah etc.—in such matters one must be especially careful since it touches upon the honor of those who dwell in the World of Truth. This is more severe than other prohibitions. Therefore, it is not advisable to enter into this doubt—even if we were to say there is no actual prohibition involved (which itself could be debated).
May you have many good years together with your wife—may she live—and may you both increase in educating Jewish children in the path of our Torah, a Torah of life given by the living G‑d who gives life to all life. May this increase be fitting for these days of Hanukkah when we add light day by day.
