I received your letter from Tangier some time ago, in which you write about the contract that was signed and that in a few days you will be moving to Gibraltar. May it be G‑d's will that this be at an auspicious and successful time, and may the desire of the L‑rd succeed in your hands to spread there authentic Judaism and uplift Keren Yisrael Saba (the pride of Israel). There is nothing that stands in the way of willpower, for "lefum gamla shichna" (according to the camel is its load).

As explained in several places, in our era none of us truly knows the mysteries of birurim (spiritual refinement), so our service must follow what is hinted at by our sages: "This world is like a wedding feast—grab and eat, grab and drink." Thus, along with promoting mitzvos in their simple sense, it is also necessary to work on matters of thought and duties of the heart, as well as on behaviors and inner guidance from the Torah as revealed in Chassidus in our generation.

Regarding your question—on Shabbos and similar times when the ten utterances through which the world was created return to their source (as explained in Likkutei Torah—apparently you refer to what is written in Parshas Haazinu 72c), it would seem that all creation should revert to absolute nothingness, as explained in Shaar HaYichud VehaEmunah ch. 1–3 and elsewhere.
