Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of the pidyon nefesh of Erev Shabbos Kodesh. May it be G‑d's will that by the time you receive this letter of mine you will see, with eyes of flesh too, an improvement in the health of the eyes — especially since you surely are particular about wine for Kiddush and for Havdalah,* which benefits "the light of a person's eyes."[1] And since all the words of our Sages are precise, surely the expression "light" is precise as well. Therefore, it seems, [the advice is] to add in the light that is in the Torah, which is called "man," as it is written, "This is the Torah: man"[2] — that is to say, in the study of the inner dimension of the Torah. And although you surely have classes in this, what is needed is only an addition, along the lines of the words of the Alter Rebbe in Iggeres HaKodesh, end of section 7.
Awaiting good news in all the above.

Notes
[1] "The light of a person's eyes" (מאור עיניו של אדם): Berachos 43b: "A large stride takes away one five-hundredth of the light of a person's eyes. What is its remedy? To restore it with the [wine of] Kiddush of Friday evening."
[2] "This is the Torah: man" (זאת התורה אדם): Bamidbar 19:14.
Summary
This letter, answering a request for a blessing for the recipient's eyes, notes that wine for Kiddush and Havdalah benefits "the light of a person's eyes"; since the Sages' words are precise, the advice is to add in the light of the Torah, called "man", by studying the inner dimension of the Torah beyond the existing classes.
