לאחרי הפסק הארוך נתקבל מכתבו ממוצש"ק, ולפלא שהורגל כנראה להשמיט ממכתבו בשורות משמחות, ואף שמובן שכשישנו דבר המעיק ומיצר אין הענין משמח נקלט כ"כ, אבל בכל אופן הרי ישנו במציאות וההודעה עד"ז לעוד איש בישראל המתענין בדבר הרי זוהי מצות אהבת ישראל ואהבת לרעך כמוך שהוא כלל גדול בתורה וכלי למצות ואהבת את ה"א, כפתגם אדמו"ר הזקן הידוע, וכוונתי להתוספת בבנין לו יהא אפילו קטנה עכ"פ תוספת היא הנחת אבן הפנה וכו'.
ובמ"ש מה יהי' הסוף מזה, כמדומה כבר כתבתי שבלי ספק שאם רק המתעסקים בזה וכת"ר בראשם יעמדו חזק בעבודתם עכ"פ לא פחות מאשר עד עתה, ודאי הדבר שילך המוסד ויתפתח.
מבלי היותי על אתר, מסופקני אם נצרך לזה לנסים ככתבו במכתבו או אפשר בלא זה, אבל בנדון דידן הוא ע"ד המובא בדא"ח במעלת ענין מס"נ דאברהם שלא חפש אחרי' אלא עסק בעבודתו דויקרא בשם ה' אל עולם, ואם לצורך עבודה זו זקוק הי' למס"נ לא הי' מניעה מצד זה, ובטח שגם בנדון דידן הוא כהנ"ל, ויה"ר שיביט בעין יותר שמחה למרות כל הקישוים והעלמות והסתרים ובמילא תהי' עבודתו בשמחה יותר, ושמחה פורץ גדר.
בברכה לבשו"ט בחוזר ממנו ומשאר המשתתפים בעבודתו בקדש, ולכתיבה וחתימה טובה.

After a long pause, your letter from Motzaei Shabbos Kodesh was received. It is surprising that you seem to have become accustomed to omitting good news from your letters. Even though it is understandable that when there is something distressing or troubling, the joyful aspect is not as strongly felt or conveyed, nevertheless it still exists in reality. Informing another Jew who is interested in the matter is a mitzvah of Ahavas Yisrael and 'Love your fellow as yourself,' which is a great principle in the Torah and a vessel for the mitzvah of 'And you shall love Hashem your G‑d,' as is known from the saying of the Alter Rebbe. My intention refers to even a small addition in building—even if minor, an addition is laying a cornerstone, etc.
Regarding what you wrote about what will be the end of this: I believe I have already written that without doubt, if only those involved—and you at their head—stand strong in their work at least no less than until now, it is certain that the institution will progress and develop. Although I am not on site and am unsure whether miracles are needed for this as you wrote in your letter or if it can happen without them—in our case it resembles what is brought in Chassidus about Avraham's self-sacrifice: he did not seek it out but engaged in his service of calling out in the name of Hashem Kel Olam (the L‑rd of the world). If for this service he needed self-sacrifice, it was not an obstacle for him. Surely also in our case it is as above.
May it be His will that you look with more joy despite all difficulties and concealments; consequently your work will be with greater joy—and joy breaks through barriers.
