במענה על מכתבו מכ"ו במנחם, בו כותב עוד הפעם סברתו וטעמיו להעתקה ממרוקה.
ואני בדעתי אעמודה, מיוסד חזק במאמר רז"ל ענייך קודמין, אשר טובתו ברוחניות, ומזה מובן שזהו גם כן טובתו בגשמיות לנצל כשרונותיו וידיעותיו בשטח החינוך על טהרת הקדש במרוקה בתוככי אחינו בני ישראל הספרדים, וככל שיוסיף במרץ והשתדלות בזה מובטח בורא עולם ומנהיגו למלאות המצטרך לו ולב"ב שי' בעניניו הפרטים, ובודאי גם כן הצלחה בלימוד, וכמאמר רבנו הזקן בעל התניא קדישא והשו"ע אשר על ידי הצדקה (ופשוט אשר צדקה רוחנית בכלל זה) נעשים מוחו ולבו זכים אלף פעמים ככה, ויהי רצון אשר יבחר בחלק היפה זה, וכאמור, ויבשר טוב שמקים תלמידים שיוכל לאמר עליהם במשך הזמן ראו גדולים שגדלתי.

In response to your letter from the 26th of Menachem Av, in which you again write your reasoning and arguments for relocating from Morocco.
I maintain my opinion, firmly based on our Sages' teaching "Your poor come first," that your spiritual welfare—and consequently also your material welfare—will be best served by utilizing your talents and knowledge in the field of education al taharas hakodesh (in purity and holiness) in Morocco among our Sephardic Jewish brethren. The more energy and effort you invest in this, the Creator of the world and its Guide is assured to provide all that you and your family need in all personal matters, and certainly also success in learning. As our master the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch, says: through tzedakah (and it is obvious that spiritual tzedakah is included), one's mind and heart become a thousand times more refined. May it be G‑d's will that you choose this beautiful portion as mentioned above, and may you share good news that you are raising students about whom you can one day say: "See the great ones I have raised."

The Rebbe teaches that dedicating oneself to education within one's own community brings both spiritual and material blessing. By investing effort where one's talents are most needed, one merits Divine assistance and true fulfillment.
