In response to your letter from the 23rd of Menachem Av, we are honored to inform you that His Honor the Rebbe shlita has today sent a telegram directly to the location of the conference in Eretz HaKodesh — as a reply to the telegram invitation from the leadership of Poalei Agudas Yisrael there. The text is copied here:
In response to your invitation, I send my blessings that your conference should merit and succeed in its true mission: to strengthen and spread uncompromising, authentic Judaism, as our Sages require — "Poalei Deyomama Anan" (we are workers of the day), and as explained by the tzt"z: to bring about day and light through Ner Mitzvah (the candle of a mitzvah) and Torah Or (the light of Torah), and especially through the luminary within Torah — until the true and complete redemption will shine forth.
