ז"ע נתקבל מכתבו מכ"ב מנ"א, בו כותב מעריכת המלוה מלכה לביאתם ומהסברות בנוגע לאופן עבודתו להבא.
והנה בודאי נודע לו אשר נמצא פה עתה הוו"ח רב פעלים מו"ה משה זלמן ובנו דוד שליט"א, ומשיחתי אתם נוצר אצלי הרושם אשר עבודה רבה בישיבת אהלי יוסף יצחק במעלבורן ובפרט במצב העכשוי, כי בודאי באם לא ינצלו ימים ושבועות אלו להרבות הישיבה ככל הדרוש, אי אפשר לדעת אם תהי' אפשריות זו לאחר זמן, ומזה מובן שכל אלו שהענין יקר ללבם ולנפשם צריכים לעבוד בזה בכל כחותיהם, ובפרט שמוכרח הדבר להקים תיכף ומיד בית ספר לנערות בנוסח חב"ד (בשם בית רבקה או בית שרה), וגם בזה נוכחתי בשיחתי האמורה שמוכרח לנצל שעת כושר זו לא רק לייסד בית הספר אלא גם להתרחבותו ולהתפשטותו האפשרית, עד שלכן אמרתי להנ"ל שלא יחכו ביסוד ביה"ס לנערות עד שימצאו בנין ובית ופשיטא שלא עד שיבנו בנין, אלא שכיון שע"פ השמועה ישנו חדר פנוי בבנין הישיבה או עזרת נשים וכיו"ב יעשו פתח לכניסה ויציאה מובדל בשביל הנערות (וגם גדר בחצר בכדי שלא תהי' תערובת), ותיכף לחזרת הנ"ל צלחה למעלבורן יתחילו בלימודים ויפרסמו עד"ז...
ומזה מובנת גם כן השקפתי בהנוגע להסברא דאופן פעולתו אודותה כותב במכתבו, אשר דעתי ברורה שיטיל את עצמו (אריינווארפען זיך) בהרחבת אהלי יוסף יצחק, וביסוד והרחבה של בית ספר לנערות בית רבקה (או בית שרה) דחב"ד, כמובן ביחד עם שאר אנ"ש אשר במחנם הט' ובכל המרץ הדרוש; וכבר ידוע פסק תוה"ק עד כמה גדולה מצוה שאפשר שזמנה עובר; וכמו שראו עד עתה הברכה מלמעלה בהצלחה מופלגה (אף שלצערי לא ניצלו כל האפשריות שניתנו כדי הצורך), מובטחני שגם להבא יתברכו מעשי ידיהם בהאמור בהצלחה מופלגה, אלא שצריך לנצלה ביותר וביותר, והלואי שיספיק זמנם ומרצם לנצלה ככל הדרוש, ואחכה לבשו"ט ומפורטות שנגשו להכנות המתאימות לפעולות האמורות ולהפעולות עצמן תיכף.

In response: I received your letter from the 22nd of Menachem Av, in which you write about organizing the Melaveh Malka for their arrival and your thoughts regarding how to proceed with your work.
You have surely heard that here now are Havavach Rav Pe'alim Moshe Zalman and his son David shlita, and from my conversation with them I gained the impression that there is much work to be done at the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Yeshiva in Melbourne—especially given the current situation. Certainly, if these days and weeks are not used to expand the yeshiva as needed, it is impossible to know if such an opportunity will exist later. Therefore, it is clear that all those who hold this matter dear must devote themselves to it with all their strength.
Especially, it is absolutely necessary to immediately establish a girls' school in the Chabad style (named Beis Rivka or Beis Sarah). From my aforementioned conversation I also saw that this moment must be seized not only to found the school but also for its possible expansion and growth. That is why I told them not to wait for a building or house—and certainly not until one is built—but since there is reportedly an available room in the yeshiva building or a women's section or similar, they should make a separate entrance and exit for the girls (and also a partition in the yard so there will be no mingling), and as soon as they return successfully to Melbourne they should begin classes and publicize accordingly...
From this you can also understand my view regarding your suggestion about how you should proceed: my opinion is clear that you should throw yourself wholeheartedly into expanding Oholei Yosef Yitzchak and founding and expanding the Chabad girls' school Beis Rivka (or Beis Sarah), together with the other Anash in your community, with all necessary energy. It is already well known from Torah how great is a mitzvah whose time may pass; just as you have already seen abundant blessing from Above (although unfortunately not all opportunities were fully utilized), I am confident that your future efforts will also be blessed with great success—provided you make even greater use of every opportunity. May you have enough time and energy to do so as needed.
I await good news with details that preparations for these activities have begun—and for the activities themselves—immediately.
