באשלמותא ביותר, שלכן לא היו ימים טובים לישראל כיוהכ"פ וט"ו באב כו', וכמבואר בדא"ח הטעם, כיון שבא לאחרי הירידה שלא בערך שלפני זה, וכמו בכל הענינים גם בזה הוראה בעבודת השי"ת אשר ההתבוננות בהירידה צריכה להביא לעילוי יותר גדול מבעבודה כסדרה, ומובן שירידה האמורה יש להעריכה בערך מדריגתו של כאו"א, וכמרז"ל הידוע כגון אנא כו', וראה ג"כ בהקדמה לשער היחוד והאמונה בסופה, וכבר ידועה שיחת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בחיוב התשובה דצדיק באם בטל מעבודתו אפילו ע"י אונס וחולי, וכיון שההצלחה בעבודה נגדלת ע"י השמחה גם שמחה מוכרחת בענין זה.
נהניתי ממה שעלה בידו להשפיע על מחנך ילדים שילמדם בסדר המתאים לקדושת האותיות והנקודות, הרי כל ענין של חינוך הוא דבר עושה פירות ופירי פירות עד סוף כל העולם וק"ל.
מוסג"פ קונ' שהו"ל לא כבר, ובטח יזכה בתוכנו גם את הרבים וזכות הרבים תלוי בו.

After the longest break, your letter from the 15th of Av was received—Yoma d'Kayma Sihara b'Ashlemusa b'Yoter (the day when the moon is at its fullest), which is why there were no holidays for Israel like Yom Kippur and Tu B'Av, etc. As explained in Chassidus, the reason is that it comes after a descent incomparable to what came before. As with all matters, there is also a lesson here in serving Hashem: reflecting on a descent should lead to an even greater ascent than regular service. It is understood that this descent must be evaluated relative to each individual's level, as our Sages famously said: "Kegon Ana..." (such as myself...), and see also at the end of the introduction to Shaar HaYichud VeHaEmunah. It is already well known—the talk of my father-in-law, the Rebbe—about the obligation of teshuvah for a tzaddik if he ceases his service even due to circumstances beyond his control or illness. And since success in avodah increases through joy, joy is also necessary in this matter.
I was pleased that you succeeded in influencing a children's educator to teach them according to the order fitting for the holiness of the letters and vowels. Every aspect of education produces fruit and fruit of fruit until the end of all worlds—and this is clear.
