לאחרי שתיקתם הארוכה נתקבל מכ' מי"א מנחם אב, כתוב ע"י הרה"ח וכו' מו"ה יהושע שניאור זלמן שי', ובמענה עליו:
א) ענין בית הספר לנערות, מוכרח הוא ביותר וביותר, ולפלא גם הספיקות בזה - לכל אלו שמתבוננים בשיחות כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ובכמה ממכתביו, שעשיריות פעמים הדגיש את ההכרח דחינוך הבנות, עכ"פ לא פחות מחינוך הבנים, וד"ל.
ב) מזה מובן, שכמו בהנוגע לחינוך הבנים, הרי אף שישנם במחנם הט' מוסדות חינוך מחוגים שונים, בכ"ז יסדו מוסד חב"ד, ורואים במוחש הצלחה מופלגה - מוכרח ג"כ שייסדו מוסד חינוך לבנות וג"כ במרותם המלאה, ובלי ספק אשר גם בו יראו הצלחה מופלגה, כיון שהמקור אחד הוא, וק"ל...
ויה"ר שגם הם יכירו את המצב כמו שהוא - שניתנו להם כחות, און אין באנק ליגט געלט, ואת שני הענינים אינם מנצלים כדרוש וככל האפשרי, ואף שעד שהנפקד מעבירו לידם - מונח הכסף בבאנק על הקאנטא של זה שמופקד אצלו בעד אהלי"י, צריכים להסביר להמופקד גודל הענין וכו'. והרי סוכ"ס ראו בעבר שעלה בידם הדבר. וככל שיגדל הכלי - תגדל ג"כ ההשפעה. וכמבואר בדא"ח בכ"מ ענין אור וכלי דקדושה, שהם בהתלבשות ומתאימים זל"ז, וכמרומז גם במרז"ל דכלי שרת מקדשין מלאים, זאת אומרת שכשהכלים הם דעניני קדושה, לשרת בעבודת הקדש - מנהיג בורא עולם שיהיו מלאים, וק"ל.

a) The matter of a girls' school is extremely necessary, and it is surprising that there are even doubts about this—especially for those who reflect on the talks of my father-in-law the Rebbe zatzal nevuga”m zya”a and in many of his letters, where he emphasized dozens of times the necessity of girls’ education—at least not less than boys’ education. This should suffice.
b) From this it is understood that just as regarding boys’ education—even though there are already nine educational institutions from various circles in your community—nevertheless you established a Chabad institution and have seen clear outstanding success—it is likewise essential to establish an educational institution for girls also under your full authority. Without doubt you will also see outstanding success in this as well, since the source is one. This should be clear…
May it be G‑d’s will that they too recognize the situation as it truly is—that they have been given strengths, and money lies in the bank, yet both matters are not being utilized properly or to their fullest potential. Even though until the appointee transfers it into their hands—the money remains in the bank under the account of whoever holds it for Oheli”y—they must explain to the appointee the greatness of this matter etc. After all, in the past you saw that you succeeded in this matter. And as much as you expand the vessel—the influence will also increase. As explained many times in Chassidus regarding light and vessel of holiness: they are clothed within each other and fit together; as hinted by our Sages that sacred vessels sanctify only when full—which means when vessels are matters of holiness to serve in holy work—the Creator ensures they are filled. This should be clear.
