לפלא שזה מזמן רב ביותר שאין ממנו כל מכתבים אף שמן הצד מתקבלים ידיעות מהצלחת פעולותיו בשטח חינוך ואם מחוץ לד' אמות שלו כן עאכו"כ שבודאי מוסיף אומץ והשתדלות ככל הדרוש בנטירת כרמי שלי... ובפרט שזכות רבותנו נשיאנו הק' מסייעים.
ומובן שבזה נכלל גם הכנות בעוד מועד לניצול הימים אשר עמא דבר קורא אותם ימי חופש, ועיין זוהר חלק ב' כ, א, ואדרבה בהם צריך להוסיף אומץ ולנצל האפשריות המתאימה להפצת המעינות חוצה, כיון שכמה אברכים ותלמידים מחוץ לד' אמות של חב"ד מסתובבים וזמנם חפשי מענינים אחרים וד"ל.
ומובן שדברי אלה מכוונים לא רק אליו בלבד אלא לכל אלו אשר ענין הפצת המעינות יקר הוא בעיניהם כגודל ערכו, ובמילא בהתבוננות קלה יבואו להשקפה האמורה, וזה יעורר אצלם המצאות וענינים איך להביא הענין בפועל במדה הכי גדולה, ויה"ר שיסביר את זה האמור בכל מקום שיהי' ואפשר שיביא תועלת והשי"ת יהי' עם פיהו.

It is surprising that for a very long time I have not received any letters from you, even though I do hear reports from others about the success of your activities in the field of education. If such reports come from outside your own four cubits, then certainly you are increasing strength and effort as needed in tending "my vineyard"... Especially since the merit of our holy Rebbeim assists you.
It is understood that this also includes preparing in advance to utilize the days which people commonly call "vacation days." See Zohar II, 20a. On the contrary, during these days one must increase strength and take advantage of the unique opportunities to spread the wellsprings outward, since many Avrechim and students from outside Chabad's immediate circle are around and their time is free from other matters—this is understood.
It is clear that these words are directed not only at you personally but at all those for whom spreading the wellsprings is precious according to its great value. With a bit of reflection they will come to this perspective, which will inspire them with ideas and initiatives on how to bring this matter into action in the greatest measure. May it be G‑d's will that you explain what was said here wherever you may be; perhaps it will be beneficial, and may Hashem be with your words.

There must be discipline not only from the students toward their teachers (Harav Moshe and Rabbi Yosef), but also discipline among those chosen to lead by those who selected them. And much thanks for what people say.
