קבלתי הידיעות על דבר היום דהנחת אבן הפנה לבית ספר בכפר חב"ד, ונעם לי להוודע ביחוד אשר נוכחה והשתתפה בזה, כי הרי כל ישראל מאמינים בני מאמינים אשר העיקר באדם הוא נשמתו חלק אלקה ממעל ממש, ואשר הנשמה נצחית היא, וכיון שתכלית בריאת האדם עלי אדמות הוא לפעול בעולם גם בעולם הזה הרי כשמקשרים את הנשמה בפעולה בעולם ובפרט בפעולה ההולכת ונמשכת ומביאה פירות ופירי פירות, הרי זהו נצחון נגד המות והקורת רוח היותר גדולה שאפשר לגרום להנשמה, ובפרט כשנעשים הדברים באותו המקום אשר שם קרה המאורע, ותקותי חזקה אשר בורא עולם ומנהיגו יברכה באריכות ימים ושנים טובות ובעיני' תראה תלמידים חניכים מבתי הספר לתורה ולמלאכה אשר השתתפה בהנחת אבן הפנה תלמידים לשם ולתפארת לישראל, ממשיכים באותה הדרך אשר עלי' הלך בזה שמחה הי"ד ואשר לזה הקדיש את חייו,
עדי יקויים היעוד הקיצו ורננו שוכני עפר.
בודאי הסתדרה בעבודה מתאימה למצב בריאותה והשי"ת יחזקה ותקבל רוב נחת אמיתי מכל יו"ח שיחיו...
בברכה לאורך ימים ושנים טובות ולבשורות טובות בכל האמור.

I received the news about the day of laying the cornerstone for the school in Kfar Chabad, and it pleased me especially to know that you were present and participated in this event. For all Israel are believers, children of believers, who know that the essence of a person is his soul—a literal part of G‑d above—and that the soul is eternal. Since the purpose of man's creation on earth is to make an impact in this world as well, when one connects the soul with action in this world—especially with an action that continues and bears fruit and fruits of fruit—this is a victory over death and brings the greatest satisfaction possible to the soul. This is especially so when these things are done in the very place where the event occurred.
My strong hope is that the Creator and Ruler of the world will bless you with long life and good years, and that your eyes will see students trained in Torah and craft from these schools where you participated in laying the cornerstone—students who bring honor to Israel—continuing on the path followed by Simchah hy"d, to which he dedicated his life, until the promise will be fulfilled: "They shall awake and sing, those who dwell in dust."
Certainly you have arranged suitable work according to your health condition, and may Hashem strengthen you, granting you much true nachas from all your children.
