לאחרי הפסק ארוך נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מי"ד אייר שמסתדרים הענינים והולכים ובכיוון טוב, היינו בשני הפרטים שתהי' לו דיעה (ובטח בדרכי נועם תהי' לו דיעה זו בהנוגע להחלטה) ושישאר זה בסוד. ומזה עוד ראי' נוספת שאין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, ואשר מתקיים פסק דין של מעלה אשר בכל ענין של תורה יר"ש ומדות טובות תהי' יד חסידי חב"ד על העליונה, ורואים הפירות מהענין הראשון על אתר במה שבשיעור החדש ישנו למוד לקו"ת וגם מתן שכרם בצדם בשידוך טוב ומתאים לילדיהם שי'.
ויה"ר שהצלחתו בכל הנ"ל יעורר בו כחות נוספים לעבודה בשטח עניני חב"ד ובהתרחבות והתפשטות אבל בדרכי נועם, ואז יהי' ע"ד האמור כשאיש אחד מכם גולה לברבריא הרי מבררים את כל המדינה, ובירורים בימינו אלה הוא ע"י הפצת המעינות (עד שיגיעו גם) חוצה שענינם לא רק לימוד החסידות אלא הליכה בהדרכותי' ומנהגי' וזהו עיקר וכמאמר המשנה לא המדרש [עיקר] אלא המעשה.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
After a long break, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 14th of Iyar stating that matters are settling and progressing well—in both aspects: that you will have an opinion (and surely this opinion will be expressed pleasantly regarding the decision), and that this will remain confidential.
This is further proof that nothing stands in the way of willpower, and that the heavenly ruling is fulfilled: in every matter of Torah, fear of Heaven, and good character traits, the hand of Chabad chassidim prevails. We see immediate fruits from the first matter—namely, that in the new class there is study of Likkutei Torah—and also their reward: a good and fitting match for their children.
May it be G‑d's will that your success in all the above awakens additional strengths for work in Chabad matters with expansion and spreading out—but always pleasantly. Then it will be as stated: when one of you goes into exile to Barbaria, you refine the entire country; and refinement in our days comes through spreading the wellsprings (until they reach) outward—which means not only learning Chassidus but following its guidance and customs. This is essential—as the Mishnah says: "Not study [is primary] but action."
