נפוצה השמועה שמשתדלים שכהדר"ג ישלח הסכמה ברכה למוסדות באמריקה שגם שמם מוכיח שמתימרים להיות נושאי דגל דת ישראל ומיצגיה ומורכבים גם מבאי-כח ושלוחי שיטות הקונסרבטיבים והרפורמים בדת כגון נ.י. בארד אף ראבייס וסינאגאג קאונסיל אף אמריקה.
כל ענין כהנ"ל גם אם אפשר יהיה לבאר הנוסחה בתרי אפי יכניס במצב העכשוי כאן בלבול בדעת אלפי יהודים ועלול להמשיכם להשפעת שיטת הקונסרבטיבים והרפורמים.
מהכרתי חוגים שונים ובפרט מהנוער נוכחתי שמצב הדיון כאן אודות ההשתתפות בהנ"ל מכריח עמדה ואיסור ברור של ההשתתפות ונוגע לדורות ולארצות.

Thank you for your telegram, honored Rav, and for your efforts in encouraging the residents of Kfar Chabad. Surely you will continue and increase your assistance for the development of the village and its institutions. Much thanks.
It has become widely known that there are attempts for you, honored Rav, to send an endorsement or blessing to institutions in America whose very name indicates their claim to be bearers of the banner of Judaism and its representatives, but which are also composed of delegates and emissaries from Conservative and Reform approaches in religion, such as New York Board of Rabbis and Synagogue Council of America.
Any matter such as this—even if it is possible to explain the wording in two ways—will, in the current situation here, introduce confusion into the minds of thousands of Jews and may draw them toward the influence of Conservative and Reform approaches.
From my acquaintance with various circles, especially among the youth, I have seen that the state of discussion here regarding participation in these organizations necessitates a clear stance and prohibition against participation. This affects generations and lands.
