מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מי"ג ניסן. ובהזדמנות זו אכפול תודתי חמה על הביכלעך כת"י מאמרי חסידות שהגיעו לידי ע"י בנו שי' וזכות הרבים שיהנו מאור תורה הגנוז בביכלעך אלו אשר בהם גם מאמרים שלא נדפסו עד עתה, תעמוד לבנו ולכל המשפחה להמצטרך לכל אחד מהם,
ומובן אשר בזה נכלל וכשיחתנו עם בנו בזה, אשר מביא הביכלעך הוא בנו וכן הוריו דודיו וכל המשפחה יהיו בין לומדי ועוסקי בתורה זו אשר כחלק מתורתנו בכלל נאמר גם בזה, גדול תלמוד שמביא לידי מעשה ובפרט שזכות אבותם וצור מחצבתם מסייעים להצלחה נוספת בזה.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 13th of Nissan. On this occasion, I again express my heartfelt thanks for the handwritten booklets of Chassidus discourses that reached me through your son, may he live. The merit of the many who will benefit from the hidden light of Torah in these booklets—including discourses not yet printed—will stand by your son and all your family to provide what each one needs. It is understood that this includes our conversation with your son about this matter: that the one bringing the booklets is your son, and so may his parents, uncles, and all the family be among those who study and engage in this Torah. For as part of our Torah in general it is also said here: 'Great is study for it leads to action,' especially since their ancestors' merit and their source assist in further success in this.
Warm regards to the whole family, concluding as at the opening—with thanks for the booklets you sent previously and for the booklet you are sending now.
