במענה על מכתבו משושן פורים, ושמחתי לקרות בו אשר ראו ברכת השי"ת במוחש בהעסק שלהם עד עתה, ובודאי ימשיך השי"ת ברכתו, ובפרט שזה עתה באנו מחדש אשר היתה ההצלחה כי נהפוך הוא אשר ישלטו היהודים וגו' ונכנסו בחדש ניסן אשר ע"פ מאמר רז"ל (ברכות נז) נסי נסים נעשו בו, ונמשך ג"כ למטה מעשרה טפחים, כי הרי זהו הענין דנס פורים שקשור בעניני הגוף, וכמבואר בכ"מ בחסידות ע"פ מ"ש בלבוש הובא בטו"ז סי' תר"ע ועד"ז גם בעניני חג הפסח שהשעבוד בזמן ההוא הי' שעבוד הגוף בחומר ובלבנים כו' וכמובא ג"כ מדרושים דפ' שמות, תורה אור ותורת חיים וכו'.
ויה"ר שתהי' ההצלחה גם לעתיד בהפלגה ויוכל למלאות משאלות לבבו לטובה במצות הצדקה ובשאר הענינים...

In response to your letter from Shushan Purim, I was pleased to read that you have clearly seen the blessing of Hashem in your business until now. Certainly, Hashem will continue His blessing, especially as we have just entered a new period marked by the success of "VeNahafoch Hu Asher Yishletu HaYehudim..." ("And it was turned around so that the Jews ruled...") and have entered the month of Nissan about which our Sages say (Berachos 57) that miracles upon miracles occurred in it. These miracles also extended down below ten handbreadths, for this is the nature of the miracle of Purim which is connected with physical matters, as explained in many places in Chassidus based on what is written in Levush and quoted in Taz Siman 690. Similarly, regarding Pesach, the enslavement at that time was a physical bondage with mortar and bricks etc., as also brought in discourses on Parshas Shemos in Torah Or and Toras Chaim, etc.
May it be His will that your success continue even more abundantly and that you be able to fulfill all your heart's desires for good through the mitzvah of tzedakah and all other matters...
With blessings for a kosher and joyous Pesach and for only good news.
