בעתו קבלתי הידיעה ע"ד מצב בריאותו ואחר זה בשורה הטובה שהולך המצב וטוב, ובודאי כפסק רז"ל דמעלין בקדש הלוך ילך וטוב עד שיחזור לאיתנו.
וביחוד שנכנסנו עתה בחדש כסלו הוא חדש הגאולה והנסים בגשם וברוח, וזכות הרבים תעמוד לו, אשר ימים אלו יצא לאור מאמר דברי אלקים חיים ד"ה מזמור שיר ליום השבת הנאמר מפי קדש הקדשים רבנו הזקן ונתפרסם גם באידיש ע"י בנו רבנו האמצעי.
אשר השתתף בהוצאות הדפוס ועל ידי זה בהפצת המעינות חוצה.
ויהי רצון שימשיך בכגון דא לארך ימים ושנים טובות וברוב נחת מכל יו"ח שיחיו, ולבשורות טובות ביחוד בהנוגע להסתדרות טובה של בנו שליט"א.

I received in due time the information regarding your health situation and afterwards the good news that your condition is improving. Certainly, as our Sages ruled, one ascends in holiness—may you continue to improve until you return to full strength.
This is especially so now that we have entered the month of Kislev, a month of redemption and miracles both physically and spiritually. The merit of the many will stand by you: in these days a mamer Divrei Elokim Chayim "Mizmor Shir LeYom HaShabbat," spoken by Rabbeinu HaZaken and published also in Yiddish by his son Rabbeinu HaEmtza'i, has come to light. You participated in the printing expenses and thus in spreading the wellsprings outward.
May it be G‑d's will that you continue in such matters for many long and good years with abundant nachas from all your children. And may you receive good news especially regarding a successful arrangement for your son shlita.
