... לפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר מהסדר דחדש תשרי העבר שהוא חדש הכללי של כל השנה והמשכות שבו נוגע אופנם וכל פרט שבהם לכל השנה כולה, אף שתשובה לעולם מועלת ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון, ותשובה מכל המינים, וכמבואר בדא"ח[2] שאינה דוקא על ענין חטא ועון כפשוטו אלא על חטא מלשון חסרון ובדרגא יותר נעלית שובה אל המקור, וכמבואר בלקו"ת האזינו[3], ועיין ג"כ[4] לקוטי תורה ד"ה מה טובו[5].
והשי"ת יצליחו לבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל מתוך הרחבת הדעת אמיתית.

… It is surprising that you mention nothing of the order of the past month of Tishrei, which is the general month of the whole year: the manner of what is drawn down in it, and every detail of it, bears on the entire year. This is so even though teshuvah always avails, and nothing stands in the way of the will; and teshuvah of every kind — as explained in the words of the living G‑d (Chassidus), that it is not only for sin and transgression in the plain sense, but also for chet in the sense of "lacking" (as in I Melachim 1:21: "and I and my son Shlomo will be חטאים — lacking"), and, on a still higher level, returning to the source, as explained in Likkutei Torah, Haazinu; and see also Likkutei Torah, the discourse beginning Mah Tovu.
May G‑d, blessed be He, grant you success to share good news in all the above, out of true peace of mind.
