Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from the 13th of Tishrei, in which you write about what has happened several times to your wife, may she live.
It is necessary to clarify whether there was any offense to the honor of a son or daughter of Israel during your match. Also, whether you and your wife are accustomed to speaking words that are the opposite of blessing, G‑d forbid, or similar matters. Most importantly, whether you are not accustomed to making resolutions regarding Torah and mitzvos and then not fulfilling them. If this has happened in the past, you must immediately and sincerely resolve that from now on all the above will be corrected—'and G‑d sees into the heart.'
Since every matter must also have a natural basis, she should consult with an expert doctor in this field. From what is heard here, Dr. Osharman and Dr. Tzondek are recognized experts; may Hashem grant them success.
It would also be appropriate to check his tefillin and the mezuzos in their home to ensure they are all kosher according to halachah. His wife should give some coins to charity before lighting candles every Friday afternoon and before Yom Tov evenings; she should also do so on Monday and Thursday mornings each week.
Blessings for good news in all the above.
Because of the sanctity of the festival, the Rebbe did not personally sign this letter; I am signing on his behalf—the secretary.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that both spiritual self-examination and practical action—such as consulting medical experts and enhancing mitzvah observance—are essential when facing repeated miscarriages. Sincere resolutions and acts of charity can help bring blessing.
