I hereby confirm receipt of your letter from the 28th of Sivan and the previous one, along with their enclosures. Thank you for your attention in informing me about the course of events as they occurred. Certainly, it is unnecessary to elaborate on this distressing matter—the dissolution of the united religious front—and may it be G‑d's will that at least this will open the eyes of our Jewish brethren in Eretz HaKodesh to recognize the absolute truth: that we have nothing but our faith and Torah, and Israel is one nation in the land. Whoever adds any other matter to this, whatever it may be, step by step dulls this truth, then conceals and hides it, until eventually it stands in opposition to it.

In connection with the festival of redemption of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), we have published a continuation of his notes regarding his imprisonment, which is enclosed. I hope it will certainly interest your honor.
