I was pleased to receive your letter from the 27th of Sivan, in which you write about arranging the students in the new classes. Surely, as you wrote, you are already preparing a program to organize study for the vacation days, especially since there is already experience from last year, and may Hashem grant you success.

It is surprising that you do not mention anything about the group of older girls that you began to gather and organize (and it has been some time since I have received any updates about this), and surely you will clarify this at the next opportunity.

I am also interested to know if efforts are being made with the students of the higher classes to make them counselors and even somewhat educators for the students of the lower classes (and it is understood that my intention is not to give them a formal position, etc., but rather to accustom them to guidance and education). There is also a great advantage in this: it uplifts their spirits to increase diligence in their studies and to be more careful in good conduct. There are several ways to implement this—whether by appointing a supervisor from among them who rotates weekly (that is, supervising his classmates), or counselors and supervisors during breaks between lessons, etc.

This too should be utilized during vacation days since at that time there are many new students—boys and girls—who are like guests compared to those who study all year at Yeshivah and Beis Rivkah.

I was pleased with what you wrote regarding the mikvah; most important is that the number of visitors has increased... On the other hand, it would be worthwhile to try lowering the entrance fee and improving conditions there in order to increase attendance as much as possible. In addition to enhancing the mikvah itself, it is necessary to teach the woman supervising immersion the relevant laws and instruct her to inform each visitor of all these laws (since I have heard that there are ignorances in certain circles—enough said). May Hashem grant you success in sharing good news regarding all of the above.
