מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מכ"ד סיון, ויישר חילו בעד הקורת רוח שגורם ע"י הידיעות מפורטות מהתפתחות אהלי יוסף יצחק במעלבורן והגדלת גבולה בתלמידים, ומובן שיש להשתדל ג"כ בריבוי מספר התלמידים, כי בזה תלוי ג"כ הריבוי באיכות, וכמובן ממרז"ל אלף נכנסים למקרא מאה יוצאים למשנה כו' ואחד להוראה, ובודאי גם שאר האברכים משתתפים בזה כפי יכולתם בהתפתחות הישיבה, ואשרי חלקם. ומובן אשר יכול הוא למסור לכאו"א מהמשתדלים ומשתתפים ברכתי זו, ויה"ר שגם יוסיפו בהתעסקותם הקדושה ותקוים הבטחת רז"ל כל המוסיף מוסיפין לו.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 24th of Sivan, and I commend your efforts for the pleasure you have given through the detailed information about the development of Oholei Yosef Yitzchak in Melbourne and its expansion with more students. It is understood that one should also strive to increase the number of students, for this also leads to an increase in quality. As our Sages say: "A thousand enter to learn Mikra, a hundred emerge for Mishnah, etc., and one for teaching." Surely, the other avreichim are also participating according to their ability in the yeshivah's development, and fortunate is their lot.
It is understood that you may convey this blessing of mine to each one who strives and participates in this effort. May it be G‑d's will that they continue to increase their holy involvement, fulfilling our Sages' assurance: "Whoever increases is given more." Enclosed is a continuation of the list regarding ma'aser (tithes), which you will surely use appropriately to benefit many.
