Shalom u'Vrachah!

I have received the information that in the near future you are preparing to ascend and return to Eretz HaKodesh, may it be rebuilt and established by our righteous Moshiach speedily in our days. May it be G-d's will that your journey be proper and successful, and upon your arrival you should increase your strength in activities to strengthen and spread Judaism in the spirit of Yisrael Saba, who is a nation that dwells alone among the nations.

Specifically, this is the way to achieve the goal—to be one nation in the land, to draw down the unity of Hashem even into this world—by beginning with one's own matters and within one's own four cubits, instilling them with the awareness that there is only one truth and one goal: to proclaim that Hashem is One and His Name is One. This is accomplished by walking in His Torah—one Torah—without any compromises or concessions. As our Sages declared regarding King Shlomo, whose reign was complete and whose era was Israel's kingdom at its peak: "Let Shlomo and a thousand like you be lost, but not one letter of the Torah."

All the more so in our confused and wandering generation—we have nothing but our Torah (from the word 'hora'ah', instruction) in every matter and detail; only it is our life and existence as individuals, all the more so as a nation.

Additionally, there is merit and responsibility for all those descended from the Baal Shem Tov, the Maggid, and their students—to spread forth the wellsprings of the Baal Shem Tov's Torah (the soul of Torah) until they reach even further outward; meaning spreading the study of Chassidus and following its guidance and customs in ever-widening circles until it becomes an inheritance for all of Israel.

Already long ago there were complaints about being made a guardian over vineyards (meaning a true vineyard), yet still lamenting why "my own vineyard I did not guard." My intention here is simple: since Hashem has granted you influence even among circles who do not yet know or recognize the light within Chassidus, it is a sacred duty—and first priority—to introduce them to the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and his successors until this awareness penetrates their daily lives—in thought, speech, and action—according to each person's capacity. Especially since your ancestors' merit assists you to be a conduit through which these wellsprings reach many Jews. The greatness of this matter surely needs no further explanation for someone like yourself.
