בודאי כבר באו אתו בקישור - בהמשך לתוכן מכתבו מחמישי לבהעלותך את הנרות, בכל זה מפני הכבוד באתי גם אני, לאשר קבלת מכתבו עם המוסגר בו.
ויה"ר שתהי' התחלה טובה אשר תקיים הבטחתה במילואה, בכל הסכום, ואדרבה להוסיף עליו. והרי מדתו של הקב"ה מדה כנגד מדה, שכשמקיימים הבטחה ומוסיפים עלי' הרי גם מלמעלה מקיימים מה שהובטח לנו ועוד מוסיפים על זה, ובלשון החסידות: אתערותא דלעילא שבערך האתערותא דלתתא והבאה בסיבתה, והאתעדל"ע שלאחר זה שאינה בערך כלל*, וכשם שכת"ר הי' המתחיל בענין זה - הרי אומרים לו גמור. ויזכה להעלות את הנרות (נר ה' נשמת אדם) גם בענין פרטי זה, עד שתהא שלהבת עולה מאלי'. ובפרט שענין הנ"ל קשור בחינוך שע"פ תורה תמימה (גליא וסתים דתורה) ובדרא דעקבתא דמשיחא ששוקעת** החמה - שדוקא נרות אלו קיימים לעולם, וכמובן מפירוש הרמב"ן עה"ת עה"פ בהעלותך את הנרות.
בברכת הצלחה בכל הנ"ל.

Certainly you have already been contacted—in continuation to the content of your letter from Thursday of Behaalotecha—regarding all this, out of respect I am also writing to acknowledge receipt of your letter and its enclosure.
May it be His will that this will be a good beginning so that you fulfill your promise in its entirety, with the full amount, and furthermore, to add to it. For the measure of the Holy One, blessed be He, is measure for measure: when one fulfills a promise and adds to it, then from Above they also fulfill what was promised to us and add even more. In the language of Chassidus: an awakening from Above corresponding to the awakening from below which brings it about, and then a further awakening from Above that is incomparable altogether*. And just as Your Honor began this matter—they say to him: "complete it."
May you merit to raise up the lamps (Ner Hashem Nishmat Adam—“the lamp of G‑d is the soul of man”) also in this particular matter, until the flame rises on its own. Especially since this matter is connected with education according to complete Torah (the revealed and hidden aspects), and in our generation—the footsteps of Mashiach—when the sun sets**, only these lamps endure forever. As explained by Ramban on the Torah on the verse Behaalotecha et haNeirot.

Your letter from 26 Sivan has been received. Thank you very much for the story included therein. As our Sages say: "One who gives a gift..." (and this too is proof that he acts willingly)—I have mentioned you and your family at the resting place of the Baal HaGeulah during this upcoming month.

The Rebbe teaches that fulfilling and increasing one's vow draws down abundant blessings from Above, especially when connected with Torah education and enduring light during spiritually challenging times. Every positive action below elicits even greater Divine response above.
