In response to your letter from the 20th of Iyar, I was pleased by what you wrote that slowly but surely the number of students is increasing. Certainly, all necessary efforts are being made in this regard—until it will surpass the number from previous years, for in matters of holiness we always ascend. In this matter, people "look" at the growth—in the institutions with which they are connected—and learn various interpretations from it.

Although you did not mention anything about the study of Jewish laws and customs, surely this is only an omission in writing, but in practice there is such study, as it is important and as has been discussed several times already.

I was especially pleased about the farbrengen that was held with the students on the yahrzeit of Rashbi, for our Sages say: "Great is sharing a meal for it brings people closer"—this applies also to students and those influenced by them.

Certainly in connection with Shavuos you will also hold farbrengens—whether on Yom Tov itself or before or after. Perhaps there is room for both options.

Surely Anash in Morocco are discussing among themselves plans for the upcoming summer vacation. May it be with success. Likewise for all other details of your holy work.

I am interested to know—not officially—the manner of fixing the new mikvah you write about.
