... בהנוגע לשאלת הנסיעה למירון בל"ג בעומר, הנה כיון שנהגו בכגון דא בשנים שעברו, אין כדאי לבטל הענין ולתת מקום ללמוד פירושים בזה, ומהם פירושים שאינם רצוים, אבל לאידך גיסא, אין מההכרח שתסע כל הישיבה וכל הר"מ והר"י וכו'. פלא שכותב שיבטלו שבוע שלם מן כל הלימודים כי הרי בכגון דא לא הכמות עיקר אלא האיכות.
