After a longer interruption, I was pleased to read your letter from 5/4 with the enclosed clippings and photos, and with joy I read about the success of the dedication of the yeshiva building. From this one can be convinced again and again that the Jewish heart is always awake to Torah and mitzvot, if only one approaches with the right words and in an appropriate manner. This will surely add courage to all those who participated in this dedication and preparation to continue further in this with even greater measure and more strength. This will also certainly increase and expand the blessings from Hashem Yisbarach and success in this, especially since the yeshiva is a matter that affects many people, and the merit of the community depends on them.

I hope it is unnecessary to point out to all helpers and activists of the yeshiva that one must be careful about anything that could be interpreted as partisan (political), even if the party might be suitable for some of those involved. This is so as not to weaken even in the slightest degree anyone's crossing of the threshold of the yeshiva for all Jews who uphold Torah and mitzvot regardless of party affiliation. This has always been the foundation of Lubavitch's success in various countries and at different times—to do this work strictly non-partisan. I hope you will also agree with me on what was said above, and this will also provide enough material to ensure that no one can say that it belongs more to one party than another.

According to your request, I will mention you and all your family members you wrote about at the holy resting place (tziyun hakadosh) of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden. The merit of your work for this holy institution Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch—which is called by his name—will surely stand by you all so that my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden, will arouse mercy on each of you for whatever each needs materially and spiritually.
