In response to your letter from the 5th of Nissan with the enclosed pan, I read it today at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal.

Regarding what you wrote about your study sessions and that you have no answer to give, even if we assume you are justified in all the reasons detailed in your letter, it is well known in our holy Torah's ruling that although "ones Rachmana patrei" (one compelled is exempt), nevertheless we do not say it is as if he acted. Especially since "love covers all transgressions," and it is known about the cunning of the Kloginker as my father-in-law, the Rebbe, would say—so even these reasons require examination. May it be G‑d's will that at least from now on there should be no lack of proper temperament.

I gladly received your blessing and as Hashem has promised: whoever blesses will be blessed. May you and your entire family celebrate the upcoming Festival of Matzos for good, with kashrus and joy, and may you share good news regarding all those mentioned in your letter.
