נעם לי לקבל ההודעה ע"י הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ הרה"ח מוה"ר משה חיים שי' שו"ב ספצקינסקי מהתועדותם בקשר עם יום הסגולה, ובלשון שו"ת מן השמים[1], יום הבשורה, הוא י"ט כסלו, וכבר ידוע מרז"ל אשר אכל בי עשרה שכינתא שריא אף שאינם מדברים דברי תורה (וכמ"ש בעל השמחה באגה"ק סי' כ"ג), ועל אחת כמה וכמה כשמתועדים לזכר הנס בגאולתו, שהיא גאולתנו ופדות נפשנו, אשר בכגון דא אמרו רז"ל, והימים האלה - כשהם - נזכרים - ה"ה - נעשים, היינו שמעוררים כל ההמשכות וכמו שהי' בימים ההם בזמן הזה, שלכן, כנ"ל, יום סגולה ועת מיוחד היא להתעוררות וקיום החלטות הטובות בשלשת הקוים דתורה עבודה וגמילות חסדים ולהמשיכם על כל השנה כולה, והחלטות אלו ה"ה עניני התקשרות עם נשיאנו רבנו הזקן, ובמילא גם הצנורות והכלים לקבלת הברכה וההצלחה במילוי בקשת כאו"א בהמצטרך לו ולב"ב, שבעל השמחה מעורר ר"ר על זה.
והשי"ת יזכה את כאו"א מאתנו למלאות תפקידו בהפצת המעינות חוצה מתוך בריאות הנכונה, הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות, והרחבת הדעת.

I was pleased to receive the report via Vavac"h Iy"a Nu"n Haraha"ch Moreinu HaRav Moshe Chaim Shochet Spetzkinski about your farbrengen in connection with this auspicious day. As it is called in She'elot U'Teshuvot Min HaShamayim (section 5), "the day of good tidings," which is Yud Tes Kislev. It is already known from our Sages that when ten gather together, the Shechinah rests among them even if they do not speak words of Torah (as stated by the Baal HaSimchah in Iggeret HaKodesh section 23). How much more so when people gather to recall the miracle of his redemption—which is our redemption and the liberation of our souls. In such cases our Sages say: "And these days—when they are remembered—they are enacted," meaning that all the spiritual influences are awakened just as they were at that time. Therefore, as mentioned above, this is an auspicious time for awakening and fulfilling good resolutions in all three lines: Torah study, service (avodah), and acts of kindness—and to draw these influences for the entire year. These resolutions are matters of connection with our Nasi, Rabbeinu HaZaken (the Alter Rebbe), which also serve as channels and vessels for receiving blessing and success in fulfilling each person's requests for themselves and their families—something that the Baal HaSimchah arouses abundant mercy for.
May Hashem grant each one of us to fulfill his mission in spreading forth the wellsprings outward with proper health—both materially and spiritually—and with expanded awareness.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that gathering on Yud Tes Kislev awakens spiritual blessings similar to those at the original redemption. By making good resolutions in Torah, avodah, and kindness—and connecting to the Alter Rebbe—we open channels for blessing throughout the year.
