In response to your letter from 7 Kislev. By the way, I have already requested that the secretariat be reminded that the name Mendel should be written with an ayin as explained in the books of names, and mainly because this is how the tzt"z (whose gematria is Menachem Mendel) writes it. Surely they will correct this in the kolel records.

Thank you for the good news that you succeeded in organizing a Chabad minyan in the Shaarei Chesed neighborhood, and that besides being a place of prayer it will also be a place of Torah—with regular study sessions both in Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus. Certainly, in Nigleh there will also be classes on practical halachot needed for daily life; this should also apply to classes in other Chabad synagogues. If I had the ability, I would establish this everywhere Jews gather—of any type—and especially in synagogues. As is known from our Sages' teaching on the verse 'Ohev Hashem Shaarei Tzion mikol mishkenot Yaakov' (the L‑rd loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob).

Thank you for letting me know that you received the books from Mossad HaRav Kook. Certainly those involved will help you obtain permission and send them here; surely there are also several travelers from there to here so that shipping will be easier...
