...I was pleased by what you wrote that the Avrech... and also the Avrech... are giving shiurim. Certainly, the manner of their classes is such that not only does it not weaken their ability to delve into Gemara, Poskim, and Tosafot (gaf"t), but on the contrary, it will further help them ascend from level to level in this area. However, care and supervision are needed here because the difference between the two approaches is at least initially very subtle.

Regarding your question about the righteousness of counting days of the year: they will be included in my free-loan fund which is currently managed through Aguch. Surely suitable students from Tomchei Temimim will participate in the campaign to be held on Yud-Tes Kislev—the bright day—and before and after it, as well as in future appropriate times.

It is well known—the assurance of our master the Alter Rebbe at the beginning of his book Torah Or—that one's mind and heart become refined a thousand times over; even though it is understood from this that one must study and exert oneself, nevertheless he assures that an hour's effort will succeed as much as a thousand times so. This is not an exaggeration, as is clear from the notes on this printed in Likkutei Torah for three parshiyot—see there.

Blessings for the bright day—Rosh Hashanah for Chassidus—may he and all those who assist in holy work and all his students and those influenced by him be blessed. May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year in learning Chassidus and its ways.
