I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 25th of Marcheshvan and the 3rd of Kislev, along with their enclosures. Surely you received my response to your previous letter, as well as the letters for the students enclosed therein.

b) Certainly, it would have been appropriate to consider the possibility of arranging that in all classes of the students (and it could even be said for the girls as well), they should learn laws and halachos necessary for daily life. After all, this is the essence of man—“not study but action is primary.” My intention here is not only for Casablanca but for all institutions (if I had the ability, I would implement this in all educational institutions for Jewish boys and girls throughout the world). It is proper that everyone should discuss this together and implement it in the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak schools in Morocco. Unfortunately, there is not yet a special booklet of such laws. However, one can select certain sections from Kitzur Shulchan Aruch; even within these sections there are paragraphs that can be skipped. To strengthen this study, it would be worthwhile to conduct exams specifically on these necessary laws—and I rely on your understanding.

c) Regarding the city of Agadir: I have not yet received any information about this.

d) Regarding the list for Maasar: Your reasoning is correct to list at the top “Likutei Daled,” “LeHashem,” “Levi,” and in the middle of the title page “Part A B C.” It is self-understood that a dedication for the donor found in a booklet printed here has no place in booklets printed by you. I do not know how many booklets you will need in Morocco. However, it would be worthwhile to print enough so that you can send 200 booklets to Eretz HaKodesh (the Holy Land)—as a gift on behalf of Agudas Chabad, 22 Pierreberg Street, Tel Aviv—and ten copies here.

Surely preparations are being made for the upcoming holidays of Yud Kislev and Yud Tes Kislev for us and all Israel for good, and may Hashem grant you success.
