... ומה [1] שהוא כחצי גורן עגולה ופני' למעלה לכסות ולהעלים כו' מן החיצונים והיא, העיקר והעצם, נקודה באמצע - הרי יהי' ג"כ "אגן הסהר" שבל יחסר המזג לכוון לנקודת ההלכה מבלי נטיות מפני יניקת ענינים חיצוניים (ויעויין מאורי אור מערכת אגן הסהר ושם נסמן ביאיר נתיב לזהר הק' וזהר חדש, ועיין ג"כ פע"ח שער התפלה פרק ה').

- 1 שָׁרְרֵךְ אַגַּן הַסַּהַר אַל־יֶחְסַר הַמָּזֶג בִּטְנֵךְ עֲרֵמַת חִטִּים סוּגָה בַּשּׁוֹשַׁנִּים: (שיר השירים פרק ז פסוק ג) רש"י שם: שררך אגן הסהר - טבורך כאוגן [(ת"ג:) 'בוקליר' (בלעז)] של מים צלולין שרוחצין בהן; והוא עגול ועשוי מאבני שייש , ובלשון ערבי קרוי 'סהר'. ועל שם שהטבור כמין נקב עגול , מושלו באוגן עגול.

...And as for what is described as half a round threshing floor, facing upward to cover and conceal, etc., from those outside, while it, the main and essential thing, is a point in the center: there will also be the "אגן הסהר" ("crescent basin"), "בל יחסר המזג" ("in which the mixed wine is not lacking" — Shir HaShirim 7:3), to aim at the point of Halachah without leanings on account of nourishment from external matters (see Me'orei Ohr, under the entry Agan HaSahar, with the references there in Ya'ir Nesiv to the holy Zohar and Zohar Chadash, and see also Pri Etz Chaim, Shaar HaTefillah, ch. 5).

Notes
(אגן הסהר): "שררך אגן הסהר אל יחסר המזג בטנך ערמת חטים סוגה בשושנים" ("Your navel is a crescent basin in which the mixed wine is not lacking, your belly a heap of wheat fenced with roses" — Shir HaShirim 7:3). Rashi there: Your navel is like a basin of clear water in which people wash; it is round and made of marble stones, and in Arabic it is called "sahar." Since the navel is like a round hollow, he likens it to a round basin.
