נהניתי להודע מהרה"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ מוה"ר יוחנן שי', גבאי דבית הכנסת ליובאוויטש בליובאוויטש מאשר עבר לפני התיבה בימי רצון ימים הנוראים דשנה זו, וכבר ידוע מרז"ל כבד את ה' מהונך אל תקרי מהונך אלא מגרונך (רש"י משלי ג' ט') ובזהר ח"ב צ"ג ע"א מהונך, מחינך וחודה דנגונא, ויה"ר שהתפלות בתוך תפלות שאר ישראל יפעלו על כל השנה כולה הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.
כן נהניתי ממה שקיים כתוב הנ"ל כפשוטו מהונך ממונך ומסר הסכום לקופת צדקה אשר ע"פ הוראתי נמסר ללשכת חשאין אחת המעלות הכי נעלות בצדקה, והשי"ת יברכו ואת זוגתו שיחיו בהמצטרך להם בגשמיות וברוחניות.

I was pleased to hear from Harav Chassid iy"a nu"n who is involved in tzt"z, Moreinu Harav Yochanan, gabbai of the Lubavitch synagogue in Lubavitch, confirming that you led the prayers during the Days of Awe this year. It is already known from our Sages: 'Honor Hashem with your wealth (mehonecha); do not read mehonecha but rather migroncha (with your voice)' (Rashi on Mishlei 3:9), and in Zohar II, 93a: mehonecha—your melody and the sharpness of tune. May it be His will that your prayers, together with those of the rest of Israel, have an effect for the entire year both materially and spiritually.
I was also pleased that you fulfilled the above verse literally—mehonecha as your money—and donated a sum to charity which, according to my instruction, was given to the secret fund—one of the highest levels in tzedakah. May Hashem bless you and your wife with all that you need materially and spiritually.
