... נהניתי ממ"ש אודות השיעורים השונים שקבעו והעיקר אשר מתרבה חוג הלומדים, ובודאי ישתדלו בזה ביותר, ובפרט שאליבא דאמת אין שייך בזה לומר ביותר כי איזה השתדלות שתהי' אי[נ]ה מספיקה בערך גדולת הדבר, ובפרט בהביא בחשבון מאמר רבנו הזקן שתורת החסידות הוא בשביל כל עם ישראל שבמילא כל העושה בכיוון זה ממלא הוא משאלות לבב רבינו הזקן ע"י שנתוסף עוד בקהלתו אלו שנתקרבו לחסידות תורתה הדרכותי' ומנהגי'.
נכון במאד מאד מה שהטילו על כל אנ"ש לחזור דא"ח לפי התור, ומה טוב שגם בשאר הסניפים יתקנאו בזה וינהיגו הענין גם במקומם.
בטח למותר לעוררם אשר בהשיעורים שלומדים צ"ל גם כן שיעור בהלכות הצריכות מאורח חיים, ובפרט שהוזנח לימוד זה בכו"כ חוגים עד כדי כך שכשבא מעשה ליד אין יודעים איך יעשו ואת אשר יעשו ואשר לא יעשו, וכפי שמעיד החוש. וכבר ידוע עד כמה רבותינו הק' הזהירו על לימוד זה וכנראה ג"כ בהקדמת שו"ע דרבנו הזקן.
כבקשתו אזכירו ואת ב"ב שיחיו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לו ולכל אשר לו, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות.

... I was pleased with what you wrote about the various classes that have been established, and especially that the circle of participants is growing. Certainly, even greater effort will be made in this regard, particularly since, in truth, it is not possible to say "enough" here—whatever effort is made is insufficient compared to the greatness of the matter. Especially when considering the statement of Rabbeinu HaZaken that the teachings of Chasidus are for all of Am Yisrael; therefore, anyone who acts in this direction fulfills the wishes of Rabbeinu HaZaken by adding more people to his community who have drawn close to Chasidus—its Torah, guidance, and customs.
It is very proper that it was decided for all Anash to review Divrei Elokim Chayim in turn, and it would be good if other branches would be inspired by this and institute it in their locations as well.
Certainly there is no need to remind them that among the classes being studied there should also be a class on practical halachos from Orach Chaim—especially since this study has been neglected in many circles to the extent that when a practical case arises they do not know what or how to act or refrain from acting, as experience shows. It is already well known how much our holy Rebbeim emphasized this study, as can also be seen in the introduction to Shulchan Aruch of Rabbeinu HaZaken.
As you requested, I will mention you and your family at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal.
As we approach the new year coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all yours: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year materially and spiritually.
