Shalom u'Vrachah!
Your letter from the 5th of Elul was received, beginning with how you are from a Chabad lineage and wish to correspond so that your portion will also be in this.
After such an introduction, logically you should have continued by considering how to participate in the Chabad community. Instead, your letter contains two matters... the questions you have about the conduct of Chabad.
It is well known from the holy Zohar (part 3, page 124b) that from the side of the Tree of Life there are neither questions from the side of evil nor disputes from a spirit of impurity. This is explained at length in Igeres HaKodesh by our master the Alter Rebbe, section 26.
If you truly wish to succeed in Torah study in general and especially in learning Chasidus—there is no other way except by placing "Naseh" before "Nishmah" (we will do before we will hear/understand). This was the manner of the general giving of the Torah, and it is also how Torah is given every day—as expressed in the blessing "Giver of the Torah," which is present tense. About this it is said: "Tumas Yesharim Tanchem..." (the integrity of the upright guides them), etc.
May Hashem remove from you all concealments and obstructions so that you may learn Torah with pure awe of Heaven.
Summary
True advancement in Torah and Chasidus comes when one commits to action first—embracing "Naseh before Nishmah." Intellectual doubts should not be a barrier to joining or participating; dedication and humility open the path to spiritual success.
