במענה על מכתבך אודות יום הולדת שלך, הנה בטח תקבל על עצמך - בלי נדר - להוסיף מכאן ולהבא בלימוד ובהנהגה טובה ובהשפעה על הסביבה וביחוד על חברותיך לשמוע בקול הורים ומורים ולהתנהג כראוי לבנות ישראל בנות שרה רבקה רחל ולאה, ובודאי תנצלנה ימי החופש מהלימוד בבית הספר לארגן מסיבות שבת בשביל ילדות הקטנות מכן וכן גם בימות החול לאספן על כל פנים פעמים או פעם בשבוע לספר להן מסיפורי תורתנו הקדושה וללמד אותן ברכות דיני ומנהגי ישראל בכלל נחוצים לגילן.
בודאי תמסור כל הנ"ל לחברותיך וכולכן יחד תשתפו פעולה והשי"ת יצליחכן.

In response to your letter about your birthday: Surely you will accept upon yourself—without making a vow—to increase from now on in your studies, in good conduct, and in positively influencing your surroundings, especially your friends, to listen to the voice of parents and teachers and to behave as is fitting for daughters of Israel—daughters of Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel, and Leah. Certainly you will utilize the days of vacation from school to organize Shabbos parties for girls younger than you. Also during the weekdays you should gather them at least once or twice a week to tell them stories from our holy Torah and teach them blessings, laws, and Jewish customs that are generally necessary for their age. Surely you will pass on all of the above to your friends so that all of you together will cooperate, and may Hashem grant you success.
