... מ"ש שיש סברא אצלו שיחזרו בע"פ איזה מהמכתבים. הנה אין לעשות כזה, כי אצל התלמידים ואפי' אצל אנ"ש צריכה להיות הבדלה שחוזרים בע"פ תניא ומאמרי דא"ח ואין לגרוע ביחסם לזה ע"י שימציאו להם לחזור גם מכתבים בע"פ.

... Regarding what you wrote that you have an idea to have them review by heart some of the letters. This should not be done, because for the students and even for Anash there must be a distinction that they review by heart Tanya and chassidic maamarim, and their regard for this should not be diminished by having them also review letters by heart.

P.S. Enclosed is a continued list of the imprisonment which was published for the upcoming days of the Festival of Redemption, and in it is also my suggestion regarding studying chassidic maamarim on these days. Please publicize as much as possible.
