בנועם קבלתי מכתבו מכ"ח סיון, בו כותב אודות הטבת מצב בריאות זוגתו תחי'.
ויה"ר אשר בחדש גאולה של נשיאנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, הנה נגאל, כאו"א מאתנו, מכל ענינים המבלבלים ממנוחת הנפש והרחבת הדעת, והרי לב כל ישראל ער הוא להקב"ה תורתו ומצותיו ולגאולה, וכמבואר במדרש שה"ש רבה על הפסוק אני ישנה (בגלותא) ולבי ער.
והשי"ת יצליחו, שכמו שכותב במכתבו שמוסיף בלימוד החסידות, שכוונתו בזה על עצמו, הנה ישתדל בכל יכולתו שיתוסף בלימוד זה גם בבית הכנסת, בתלמוד תורה דרבים, ויהי' אופן הלימוד בחקיקה, שמבואר מעלתה בכ"מ, וראה של"ה פרש[ה] זו, וביאורו בלקו"ת בפרשתנו וכן בפ' בחקותי.

I was pleased to receive your letter from the 28th of Sivan, in which you write about the improvement in your wife's health. May it be the will [of Hashem] that in the month of redemption of our Nasi, my revered father-in-law the Rebbe—who was redeemed—so too may each one of us be redeemed from all matters that disturb peace of mind and broadness of spirit. For the heart of every Jew is awake to Hashem, His Torah and mitzvot, and to redemption—as explained in Midrash Shir HaShirim Rabbah on the verse 'Ani Yesheinah (I am asleep—in exile) v'Libi Er (but my heart is awake).' May Hashem grant you success; just as you write in your letter that you are increasing your study of Chassidus—referring to yourself—so too should you strive with all your ability that this study increases also in the synagogue and in communal Torah learning. The manner of study should be with engraving (deep internalization), whose virtue is explained in many places; see Shelah on this parsha and its explanation in Likkutei Torah on our parsha as well as Parshat Bechukotai.
