במענה על הודעתו מיום הולדת שלו. ולפלא שאינו מזכיר דבר מהקביעות עתים שלו ומשיעוריו בתורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות נוסף על שמירת שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל נפש מתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, ווארום דאס מיינט מען דאך יעדערערן פון אונז ובמילא גם אותו, ואי אפשר לצאת ידי חובתו במה שאחר לומד ושומר את השיעורים. וכבר כמה פעמים אמרתי לו אודות הנ"ל בהוספה שכפי שרואים גם בעיני בשר הרי בימינו אלה הרי זה נוגע גם בהצלחה בגשמיות ובהסתדרות. ויתן השי"ת ושנה הבאה תהי' שנת הצלחה בכל הנ"ל ובהסתדרות לטוב לפניו בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

In response to your message about your birthday. It is surprising that you do not mention anything about your set times for learning and your lessons in the revealed Torah and Chassidus, in addition to keeping the three daily lessons established by my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory—Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya—as is well known. For this is meant for each one of us, including you, and one cannot fulfill his obligation by having someone else learn and keep the lessons for him.
I have already told you several times about the above, adding that as we see even with our physical eyes, in our days this also affects success in material matters and settling down. May Hashem grant that the coming year will be a year of success in all the above and in settling down for good before you, both materially and spiritually together.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that every individual must personally study Chitas daily; relying on others does not suffice. This practice brings blessings and success not only spiritually but also in one's material affairs.
