That your wife will take upon herself to wear a sheitel with a joyful heart, and will not be ashamed before those who might—perhaps—mock this, her merit will be great, especially as one of the first in the community to restore the custom of kosher Jewish women. It is already well known how our Sages greatly praised the virtue of being mezakeh es harabim (bringing merit to the many).
It may be that temporarily this is difficult to do because of the expense involved. There is a special fund set up for such purposes, allowing payment over a longer period in order to make it possible for everyone.
Therefore, it is not worthwhile to delay this. As soon as you receive this letter, write on whose name and for how much to make out the check, and it will be sent out immediately. May Hashem Yisbarach grant you success.
