Shalom u'Vrachah!
I acknowledge receipt of your letter and its content regarding the change in the form of letters in script according to our master, the Alter Rebbe, compared to what is customary among others. From your letter it appears that this is not something you received directly as a tradition from person to person, but rather that you have been precise and continue to be precise in Torah portions whose tradition is that they were written by Chabad scribes. In this matter there remains a doubt as to what exactly and specifically is precise and what occurred incidentally and not precisely. Perhaps it would be worthwhile for you, as an expert in this field, to investigate whether you might find someone who received a direct tradition regarding these letter forms as mentioned above. Thank you in advance…
Enclosed is the maamar that was said on the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), last year. Surely your eye will be generous and you will merit others with it as well, and may Hashem grant you success.
With blessing.
Summary
The Rebbe emphasizes the value of an unbroken tradition when it comes to specific Torah practices such as script forms. He encourages thorough investigation into authentic sources and highlights sharing Torah teachings for communal benefit.
