I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 23rd of Tevet, and I was pleased to read that you have designated your day [1] for the yahrzeit of the honorable holiness, my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagm zya, leader of the generation—a special day on which all who follow in his footsteps succeed at that time in general matters and consequently also in their personal matters. Please convey my regards to your friends who surely also study the teachings of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, and observe his guidance; therefore, his holy merit protects them in this world and the next.
