כבקשתו יושלח לו בחבילה בפ"ע, התניא שהדפיסו כאן במהדו"ח עם מפתחות וכו' ובטח יאשר קבלתם. כן מוסג"פ אשר הו"ל בקשר עם חג הגאולה הוא י"ט כסלו, אשר בטח יעניין את כת"ר שי'.
במה ששואל להערותי, הנה אין הזמ"ג לעיין כדבעי, בכ"ז לחביבותא דמילתא עברתי בין הדפים. ולפ"ד בס' אלו ניכר עוד יותר חסרון מפתחות. כן - בס' תורת הבעש"ט וצאצאיו - בכמה וכמה מאמרים אי[נו] ברור למי הם. גם הי' צ"ל הוראה מפורשת אשר חלק המאמרים הובא בשינוי לשון.
דרך אגב: שם בתו של הבעש"ט צ"ל אדל חסר יו"ד, כיון שהוא ר"ת: אש דת למו.
את בנו של בעל התניא אין לכנות רבי דוב מליאדי, כי נהג נשיאותו בליובאוויטש. הר"ד מליאדי הי' נכדו של הצמח צדק חתנו של הנ"ל.
בס' תורת ר"פ מקוריץ סי' קכא, אי' בכ"י - הוא שם בשם הירושלמי אף שלא נמצא בירושלמי שלפננו. וראה תורה אור בהוספות ס"פ תשא.

I was pleased to receive your gift: the book on the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and his descendants, as well as the new edition of the teachings of Reb Pinchas of Koretz. Many thanks for this gift. May Hashem grant you the ability to publicize the teachings of the leaders and greats of Chassidus in ever-wider circles, with expanded understanding and good health.
As you requested, a copy will be sent to you in a separate package—the Tanya printed here in a new edition with indexes, etc.—and I am sure you will confirm its receipt. Also enclosed is what was published in connection with Yud-Tes Kislev, which will surely interest you.
Regarding your request for my comments: I do not currently have enough time to review it properly; nevertheless, out of fondness for the matter I glanced through some pages. In my opinion, in Sefer Elu it is even more apparent that there is a lack of indexes. Similarly—in Sefer Toras HaBaal Shem Tov U'Tze'etza'av—in many places it is unclear to whom certain statements belong. There should also have been an explicit note where parts of statements were quoted with changes in wording.
Incidentally: The name of the Baal Shem Tov's daughter should be spelled Edel without a yud, since it is an acronym for: Esh Das Lamo ("A fiery law unto them").
The son of the Baal HaTanya should not be called Reb Dov of Liadi, since he led his leadership in Lubavitch. Reb Dov of Liadi was a grandson of the tzt"z and son-in-law of the above.
In Sefer Toras R' Pinchas Mikoretz section 121, it appears in manuscript—he cites something in the name of Yerushalmi even though it is not found in our version. See also Torah Or at the end of Parshas Ki Sisa.
