שוין א ליינגערע צייט אז איך האב ניט געהערט דירעקט פון אייך, חאטש איך באקום ידיעות וועגען אייך דורך נאכפרעגען זיך בא אונזערע געמיינזאמע פריינד, און איך האף צו באקומען פרייליכערע ידיעות וועגען אייערע ענינים, און אויך אז איר נעמט איינטייל אין די ענינים פון דער שול, וואס עס איז שוין די העכסטע צייט עס זאל איינגעארדענט ווערען ווי מיר האבען גערעט אייניגע מאל, אז עס דארף זיין א שול אין דעם געגענט וואוהין מען מופט יעצט און אויך א תלמוד תורה און די איבעריגע ענינים וואס געהערען צו א שול. ווארום עס איז דאך א שאד די צייט וואס גייט דורך, און וואס ווייטער קען די זאך ווערען מער קאמפליצירט.
און בפרט וויל איך אויפמערקזאם מאכען אייך אויף נאך א ענין וואס איך רעכין אז עס איז די צייט אויף דעם, דאס איז וועגען דעם קרן הצלה, פאריגען יאר האט איר איינטייל גענומען אין דער דורכפירונג פון דעם אז דער קרן הצלה זאל באשטימען א פאסענדען סכום פאר דער עסקנות ליובאוויטש אויף דער אנדער זייט ים, און חאטש די שטיצע וואס זיי האבען אסיגנירט איז ווייט לפי ערך די נויטיגקייט און פארנעם פון דער ארבעט, דאך האט אבער אייער אריינמישונג אין דעם גוט געטאן, אז עס זאל אסיגנירט ווערען די סומע לכל הפחות.
לויט דעם סדר דארפען יעצט פארקומען די אסיפות וועגען דעם בודזשעט פארטיילונג פון קרן הצלה אויף דעם יאר, וואלט איך געוואלט אייך אויף דעם אויפמערקזאם מאכען, און בעטען, הגם איך האלט דאס פאר איבעריג און איר וועט דאס אליין אויך טאן, צו נעמען זיך ענערגיש אויך אין דעם יאר אין דער דורכפירונג פון דער הילף אסיגנירונג פאר דער ארבעט עסקנות ליובאוויטש אין דער געהעריקער מאס, וואס זיכער וועט איר געפינען די וועגען די פאסענדע צו בריינגען דאס מהכח אל הפועל.
און לויט ווי מיר האבען געהערט פון מיין שווער כ"ק אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אז ווען מען טוט אין א גוטער זאך איז השם יתברך מצליח, האף איך אז איר [וועט] מצליח זיין אויך אין דעם, און וועט מיר קענען שרייבען גוטע בשורות אין דעם.
און בפרט אז מיר גייען יעצט צו דעם חג הגאולה י"ט כסלו, וואס לויט די מסורה פון אונזערע רביים הק', האט אדמו"ר הזקן דורך זיין עבודה פועל געווען, אז ווען חסידים וועלען טאן אין זיינע ענינים, וועלען זיי תמיד מנצח זיין און אויספירען, איז יעצט אלזא די פאסענדע צייט צו אנהויבען אין דער השתדלות ווי אויבען געזאגט וועלכע וועט געקרוינט ווערען מיט הצלחה.

It has been quite some time since I have heard directly from you, although I receive information about you through inquiries with our mutual friends. I hope to receive happier news regarding your affairs, and also that you are participating in the matters of the shul. It is already high time for it to be properly organized as we have discussed several times—that there should be a shul in the area where people are now moving, as well as a Talmud Torah and other matters related to a shul. For it is a shame for time to pass by, and later things may become more complicated.
In particular, I want to draw your attention to another matter which I consider timely: regarding Keren Hatzalah. Last year you participated in ensuring that Keren Hatzalah would designate an appropriate sum for Lubavitch activities on the other side of the ocean. Although the support they allocated was far less than needed considering the scope of work, your involvement helped ensure at least that amount was designated.
Now, according to this order, meetings should take place regarding this year's budget allocation from Keren Hatzalah. I wanted to bring this to your attention and request—though I consider it superfluous since you will surely do so yourself—to energetically involve yourself again this year in carrying out the assistance allocation for Lubavitch activities in proper measure. Surely you will find ways to bring this from potential into actuality.
And as we have heard from my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, when one acts in a good cause Hashem grants success; I hope you will also succeed in this and be able to write me good news about it.
Especially now as we approach the Festival of Redemption, Yud-Tes Kislev—which according to our holy Rebbeim's tradition, through his avodah Admor Hazaken accomplished that when chassidim act in his matters they always succeed and prevail—it is therefore an appropriate time to begin efforts as mentioned above, which will surely be crowned with success.
