במענה על שאלתם שעד עתה היו אצלם כתות ששפת הלימוד עמהם הי' באידיש ומסתפקים בזה בנוגע לזמן הבע"ל מפני כמה טעמים שמזכירים במכתבם ושואלים חוו"ד בזה.
הנה למרות הטעמים שמזכירים מוכרח הדבר שימשיכו בכתות הנ"ל דוקא בשפת אידיש וכמו שהי' עד עתה... ובה בשעה שרואים אשר הלעו"ז לוחם בעד כל קוץ ותג ואין דבר נחשב למאומה ובלבד לנצח, הרי לא תהי' תורה שלימה שלנו כענינים שלהם שצריכים לשמור אפילו על ערקתא דמסאנא ועאכו"כ בענין הנוגע בחינוך שקשה במאד לשער מראש את התוצאות משינוי קל במשך שנות הילדות על משך חיי האדם בימי חלדו, והאריכות לדכוותייהו בטח אך למותר.

In response to your question: until now you have had classes where the language of instruction was Yiddish, and you are uncertain about continuing this in the coming period for several reasons mentioned in your letter, and you seek my opinion on this matter.
Despite the reasons you mention, it is absolutely necessary that these classes continue specifically in Yiddish as has been done until now...
At a time when those opposed to Torah fight for every detail and nothing is considered insignificant as long as they win, our Torah must not become like their matters—where we are required to safeguard even the smallest detail. All the more so regarding education, where it is very difficult to predict the consequences of even a slight change during childhood over a person's lifetime. Further elaboration for people like yourselves is surely unnecessary.
