במענה על מכתבו מט"ז חשון, בו כותב מצבו בצבא ואשר שולחים אותו לקורס לימוד קצינים המתחיל בחדש כסלו ונגמר בסוף חדש שבט, ונמצא במבוכה כיון שהי' הקס"ד שתהי' חתונתו בכסלו, אבל אז עליו להפס[י]ד את ההזדמנות ללמוד בקורס הנ"ל.
הנה אם הכלה וההורים משני הצדדים מסכימים ע"ז, כדאי לדעתי שהיום שהי' הקס"ד לעשות החתונה יכתבו אז תנאים, ואם לבד הווארט כבר כתבו תנאים ג"כ, יתאספו ההורים משני הצדדים ויתדברו בפרט בענינים הנוגעים להחתונה ותהי' התועדות זו בשמחה, היינו בצירוף סעודת מצוה כמו סיום מסכת, מלוה מלכה וכיו"ב, והחתונה עצמה תהי' בשעה טובה ומוצלחת בחדש אדר הבע"ל ועל כל ישראל לטובה, ובטח יודיע מהחלטתם בזה לכאן בהקדם.

In response to your letter from the 16th of Cheshvan, in which you write about your situation in the army and that you are being sent to an officer training course beginning in Kislev and ending at the end of Shevat. You are confused because it was originally intended for your wedding to be in Kislev, but then you would have to miss the opportunity to attend the above-mentioned course.
If the bride and both sets of parents agree to this, in my opinion it is worthwhile that on the day originally intended for the wedding, conditions should be written. If aside from the engagement (vort) conditions have already been written as well, then both sets of parents should gather and discuss specifically matters related to the wedding. This gathering should be held joyfully, including a mitzvah meal such as a siyum on a tractate, Melaveh Malka or similar. The actual wedding should take place at an auspicious and successful time in the upcoming month of Adar for good for all Israel. Certainly inform here of your decision as soon as possible.
With blessing that whichever way you decide will be successful both materially and spiritually.
