במענה על מכתבו מח"י מנ"א ששואל בענין ההעתקה ממחנו עתה, ולאן,
הנה לפי דעתי יתענין אם יש אפשריות בידו להשיג ניירות לאצה"ב, קנדה או אויסטראליא, ולפי ערך כמה זמן נצרך על זה, ואם אין אפשריות בידו, יודיעני.
... ומה שכתוב שלבנו... אין חשק כל כך בלימודו, יסביר לו באותיות המתאימות לפניו, אז איצטער איז גאר אנדערש, וצריך הוא לדעת אשר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ הוא הוא הנשיא והראש של כל חסידיו ומקושריו, וכיון שהראש הרי, בפשיטות הגמורה, הוא בריא וחזק, הרי נמצאים בו כל הכוחות והחיות השייכים לכל אחד ואחת מהמקושרים שלו בשלמות ואין הדבר תלוי אלא בהם. ואם ח"ו אינם מתאימים לפי רצון הראש, הרי אין זה נוגע להמקושר בלבד.
וכאשר יתבונן בזה אפילו לשעה קלה, בטח יראה גודל האחריות המוטלת עליו, ובמידה המתאמת למצב בריאותו, ימסור ויתן את עצמו, זיך איבערגעבן גאר אינגאנצן, לרצונו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ ולמילוי דבריו והוראותיו הנמצאים בשיחותיו מכתביו הכלליים או הפרטיים, אשר בהם ימצא כל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל הוראות בדרכו בחיים. און מ'דארף ניט נתפעל ווערן, וואס האט א קליינער אינגל פאר א שייכות מיט אזא גרויסן רבי'ן, כמבואר הדבר בכמה מקומות [ב]דא"ח וגם במאמר ח"י אלול דשנה זו, פרק ז' ומוסג"פ הקונטרס.
בטח יש לו וגם לחתנו שי' קביעות עתים ביחוד לתורת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ ואומרים ג"כ הקאפיטל ע"א דתהלים.

In response to your letter from the 18th of Menachem Av in which you ask about relocating from our camp now, and to where: In my opinion, you should inquire if it is possible for you to obtain papers for the USA, Canada, or Australia, and approximately how long this would take. If it is not possible for you, let me know.
Regarding what you wrote that your son... does not have much enthusiasm for his studies: explain to him in words appropriate for him that now things are very different. He must know that the Rebbe Rayatz hk"m is truly the Nasi (leader) and head of all his chassidim and those connected to him. Since the head—simply and obviously—is healthy and strong, all the powers and vitality relevant to each one of his followers are found within him in completeness; it depends only on them. And if G‑d forbid they do not align with the will of the head, it does not only affect that follower alone.
When he contemplates this even briefly, he will surely see the great responsibility placed upon him. To a degree appropriate to his health situation, he should devote himself—give himself over entirely—to fulfilling the will of the Rebbe Rayatz hk"m and carrying out his words and instructions found in his talks and letters (both general and private), in which every Jew can find guidance for their path in life.
And one should not be disturbed by thinking: what connection does a small boy have with such a great Rebbe? This is explained in several places in Chassidus as well as in this year's Chai Elul maamar, chapter 7—and I am enclosing the booklet.
Surely both he and his son-in-law shiyichyeh have set times specifically for studying Torah of the Rebbe Rayatz hk"m and also recite chapter 71 of Tehillim.
As requested, I will mention him and all his family shiyichyu at the gravesite of the Rebbe Rayatz hk"m for a good inscription and sealing.
