B"H, Shalom u'Vrachah!

My revered father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, in one of his letters* regarding the passing of his father, writes that tzaddikim are protectors of the earth even after their passing: "Behold, not only do they not separate from their flock, but moreover they humble themselves before the footstool of the exalted throne to stand before the splendor of G‑d on high and lofty to protect the people of Yeshurun." The same is true regarding my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbagm zya hk"m.

We, however, on our part, must maintain and strengthen our connection and bond with him with even greater force and intensity. By learning his maamarim (discourses), sichos (talks), and letters, delving into the instructions found within them—as well as in any personal directives we received—we will walk "on the straight path he taught us from his ways and we will go in his paths forever and ever."**...
