י"ל בכמה אופנים: א) בסנה' כא, ב מבואר הטעם שלא נתגלו שהרי אותם שנתגלו נכשלו עי"ז בקיומם וא"כ אין מקום לזה קודם שנצטוו על התוהמ"צ וגם כמה פרקי דע"ז ידעם אברהם ולא הגיעו אלינו. ב) ראה ברש"י סנה' שם שאינו מדבר אלא בטעמי החוקים וגם בתוספתא ל"ק שכל הטעמים נתגלו לא"א. ג) טעמי תורה יתגלו לעת"ל וכפרש"י שה"ש א, ב והאבות הטעימן הקב"ה מעין עוה"ב ב"ב ספ"ק עיי"ש בתוס'. ואין הזמ"ג להאריך.

Your letter from the day of the creation of the world was received, and as you requested, I mentioned you inside (at the gravesite) together with the kvittel and the pidyon nefesh of four shekels. Enclosed is a receipt for the fifth payment for the Chassidus booklets. And as a play on words: "And you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh," all lights will be paid off—the revelation of the Infinite Light, blessed be He—through the teachings of Chassidus; and "the four hands will be for your needs," children, life, and sustenance in abundance. This is based on what is written in Eitz Chaim Shaar 31 perek 7 not to lengthen (by) the AriZal on Parshas Vayigash, to Likkutei Torah by the Alter Rebbe on Shir HaShirim "Shechorah Ani" second discourse chapter 2.
Regarding your comment from Tosefta at the end of Kiddushin that Avraham was revealed the reasons for Torah commandments, yet it is known that these reasons were not revealed: This can be explained in several ways: (a) In Sanhedrin 21b it is explained that the reason they were not revealed is because those to whom they were revealed stumbled in their observance; thus, this does not apply before being commanded in Torah and mitzvos. Also, there are several chapters in Avodah Zarah that Avraham knew but did not reach us. (b) See Rashi Sanhedrin there that it only refers to reasons for chukim (statutes), and also Tosefta does not mean that all reasons were revealed to Avraham. (c) The reasons for Torah will be revealed in the future to come, as Rashi explains on Shir HaShirim 1:2; and regarding the Patriarchs, Hashem gave them a taste of the World to Come (see Bava Basra end of chapter; see Tosafos there). There is no time now to elaborate.
I will conclude today with wishes that you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year—for you and all yours—in everything, materially and spiritually.
