על של עתה באתי לשלוח בזה איחולי לשנה טובה ומתוקה, לו ולכל אשר לו, בכל מילי דמיטב.
ובימים אלו אשר המאור קרוב אל הניצוץ וכל יחיד הוא כציבור דכל השנה (ר"ה יח, א), גדולה ביותר אחריות וחובת כל איש בעל השפעה לנצל השפעתו בכל סביבתו לחזוק התורה והיהדות.
נוסף בשנה זו שיו"ט של ר"ה חל להיות בשבת, דתחלת וראש השנה הוא כד מתעטרין בנשמתין חדתין ומברכין בחדוה בנהירו דאנפין (זח"ב קל"ה).

I am now sending my wishes for a good and sweet year to him and all that is his, in every good matter.
In these days, when the luminary is close to the spark and each individual is like the community for the entire year (Rosh Hashanah 18a), the responsibility and duty of every person with influence is especially great—to utilize his influence throughout his environment to strengthen Torah and Judaism.
This year adds that Yom Tov of Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, for the beginning and head of the year is when new souls are crowned and blessings are given joyfully with radiant faces (Zohar II, 135).
